Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, posting a job, submitting a proposal, or otherwise using HireHolic (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. HireHolic may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Roles and use
Clients may post jobs, review proposals, and hire freelancers. Freelancers may purchase token packages, spend tokens to submit proposals, and accept hires. You may hold one or both roles. Admins manage Platform operations, including job moderation, token pricing, and user accounts.
4. Token-based bidding
Freelancers purchase token packages to submit proposals. Each proposal consumes a set number of tokens, determined by the job's bid cost. Token purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Tokens hold no monetary value outside the Platform.
5. Jobs, proposals and hires
Clients and freelancers are responsible for the content of their job posts and proposals, and for the work they agree to. HireHolic is not a party to any agreement between a client and a freelancer. Once a hire is made, the client's contact details become visible to the hired freelancer so the two can communicate directly.
6. No escrow or payments
HireHolic does not hold client funds, offer escrow, manage milestones, process freelancer payouts, or handle client billing for completed work. Any payment for services is arranged directly between the client and the freelancer.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content; circumvent the token system; spam proposals; harass other users; or attempt to disrupt the Platform. HireHolic may remove content and take action against accounts that breach these rules.
8. Content and licences
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting it on HireHolic, you grant HireHolic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. HireHolic does not guarantee that a job will be filled, a proposal will be accepted, or that any freelancer or client will complete agreed work.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireHolic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a relationship between a client and a freelancer, including non-payment or non-delivery of work.
11. Changes to these terms
HireHolic may update these Terms from time to time. We will note the updated date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
